    Integration with QuickBooks Accountancy Software

    Hi Guys,

Do you integrate with QuickBooks accountancy package?

If not, are there any plans to do so ?

    Kind Regards,

    John

    Hi John,

DotNetInvoice does not currently integrate with QuickBooks, but we have had many discussions about doing so. QuickBooks integration is one of the items on our feature request list.

To assist in this effort, what would you like an integration like this to do? Would you want to export invoices from QuickBooks into DotNetInvoice, or import them into QuickBooks from DotNetInvoice? Anything else?

Re: Integration with QuickBooks Accountancy Software

I did not see a response from John, so I thought I would respond. The most important QB integrations would be to be able to import an invoice created in QB into DotNetInvoice and to be able to export payments made against invoices from DotNetInvoice to QB. The majority of QB users generate their invoices using QB. So if you are a QB user you end up having to create 2 invoices one in QB and one in DNI. Then when a payment is made, you need to post the payment to QB.

This is the number one question we get from clients when discussing the ability to set up clients to pay online. Any update over the past few months on integration plans/time frames?

I see. This is very helpful.

In terms of updates, I know QB integration will not make it into v2.4, but I am pushing hard to include it in v2.5.
