    SQL Server 2000 issues

I installed the app on a sql server 2000 that already had the asp.net membership tables and it seemed to install fine however I'm getting errors when trying to email an invoice (obj reference not found), save a user, etc...  Is there a separate install script for sql server 2000?  I'd like to install this into the current application and use the setup I already have from a membership perspective.  I have no problem adding roles, etc...  That is what I'm trying to achieve on SQL Server 2000... Thanks in advance for any help!

    Re: SQL Server 2000 issues

    Pictoric,

Sorry for the delay. There are no known issues with running the asp.net Membership tables or DotNetInvoice on SQL 2000, nor with installing this into a database with existing aspnet_Membership tables.

Let's take a more detailed look at this problem - please send an email to support@dotnetinvoice.com with a description of your issue and we can troubleshoot it offline, then I will post a resolution to the forums once it's figured out. Please include answers to the following in your email:

    1. Is this a new install or an upgrade?
    2. Do the errors happen anytime the database is accessed, or only during certain tasks?
    3. What culture is your SQL Server set to (US, UK, etc...)
    Thanks,

I'm not sure what happened.  I ended up installing this in a different db without the membership tables and it is fine now..

    Pictoric,

Thanks for your reply. I'm glad it worked out. This is the first time we've seen this issue, so I'm not sure if it was installation-specific, or if it could be a problem in the future. I'm going to make a note in our tracker that this happened on SQL 2000 with existing membership tables.

Thanks for letting us know the outcome,
