    Invoicing for my customers' customers

    Hi,

We have an existing asp.net application which provides our customers with a login to a web site where they can monitor all their registered facilities. Each one of these facilities has a number of users (customers). It is these users who need to be invoiced based on data the system collects for each facility.

So the administration panel I see in your demo would need to be part of our customer's web site (a separate instance required for each connected customer so one customer cannot access another's invoice admin pages), and the client pages would be accessible to each of their users.

Is dotnetinvoice suitable for this application where instead of my company administrating the invoices, it is my customers who are creating invoices for their customers? I currently have an .net invoice generation module which I wrote for this, but am looking for something full featured and off the shelf so I do not have to continually update it with typical accounting requests.

If technically possible are there licensing issues associated with this?

     Any help appreciated.

    Hi dominicw,

DotNetInvoice is suitable for this application, but since you would have multiple production installs you would need to purchase a DNI license for each installation. If we didn't restrict the licensing in this manner, someone could purchase a copy of our product and install it 1,000 times on a web server and put us out of business selling a hosted version of our product.

However, we can provide a substantial discount on the licenses when multiple are purchased, or provide you with a site license for your users. Please send an email to support@dotnetinvoice.com with your approximate number of users, and we will work it out.

    Thanks for contacting us,
