    Trouble with PayPal IPN

    Hello,

I just bought DNI 2.4 last week. Everything is installed and working, but I can't get PayPal IPN to post payments. IPN is set up in my PayPal profile and turned on. My app path is http://my-domain.com/invoice and as such I have entered http://my-domain.com/invoice/paypal-process.aspx as the IPN path in my PayPal profile. The payment process results in a payment to my PayPal account, but it doesn't post the payment to DNI. I'm not getting any errors, what else can I troubleshoot?

    Thanks,

    Infowan

    Hi Infowan,

We are working through this in our support emails.  If we find a helpful solution to the problem, we will post it here so that everyone has access to it.

    Re: Trouble with PayPal IPN

The issue turned out to be that the test payments were partial payments.  Partial payments don't close the invoice or change it's status and this was not was they expected.

I am having same problem.  Not doing partial payments.  My authorize.net is working fine, but not pay pal.  I have correct setting on pay pal side and on dni side?  Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

    Re: Trouble with PayPal IPN

    Hi Beckie,

It sounds like this may be in different issue than the one in your other thread.  Could you look in your web server logs and see if there are any hits to your paypal-process.aspx page?  If you aren't getting any hits, then it is a configuration problem.  Also, make sure your Application URL is set correctly in your Configuration area in the admin.

If you are continuing to have problems, could you email support@dotnetinvoice.com so that we can get into your details and respond more quickly?  If there is helpful information for everyone, we'll post it to the forums once we get it working.
